Looking for “A Wildlife Experience”, Panzi Lodge offer exactly this – we make it our mission for you to return soonest. ‘Panzi’, which is pronounced paan-zee and means ‘down below’ or ‘on the ground’ in Shangaan a local native language. This name was chosen because the camp nestles comfortably in a beautiful wooded gully which is surrounded by magical indigenous trees and bush.
Panzi is an owner managed lodge where we care about our guests and their unique wildlife experience during their visits. Panzi is all about “A Wildlife Experience” enjoying South African hospitality at its best.
Panzi is a 20 bed lodge with free parking & free wifi available at the main lodge, main lodge also opens up onto the bar, lounge and dining area. During the rainy season there is a river that runs through the boma area adjacent to the pool. The waterfall can be heard from some of the chalets during this time. Panzi Lodge have free roaming antelope and large herbivorous species such as zebra, giraffe, kudu, buffalo, wildebeest and impala. The animals are fairly habituated to humans enabling guests to observe them from a relatively close distance, especially while on bush walks through the reserve.
